What we stand for

Ethos

The Blog Bureau exists because the open web is still the smartest room on the internet, and it's getting harder to hear.

  1. 01

    Attribution, always.

Every insight on this site names the writer, the publication, and links to the original. We do not paraphrase writers into anonymity. If we quote you, you're named. If we synthesize your idea, you're cited.

  2. 02

    Never republish, ever.

We do not reproduce article bodies. We do not cache full text for reading. The Blog Bureau is a directory and a synthesizer, the reading happens on the publisher's site, where it belongs.

  3. 03

AI as a lens, not a voice.

We use AI to compare, cluster, and surface what independent writers are saying. We do not use it to generate original opinion, to imitate any writer's style, or to produce content that competes with the sources we index.

  4. 04

    Independent writers first.

We prioritize personal sites, Substacks, and small independent publications over corporate media, SEO farms, and AI-generated content. When our index disagrees with Google's, we're usually right.

  5. 05

    Readers are not the product.

No advertising. No tracking beyond what we need to run the service. Paid plans exist so we don't have to sell your attention to anyone.
